Create Spaces You Love, and They Will Love You Back
The weather is cold here in Upstate New York, and like most of us, I'm spending more time indoors - and looking around at what I see. I see things I've bought, things I've made, and even things that have been passed down through my family. All of these things combine to tell the story of my life - who I am and how I got here. It's important that we all take the moments to recognize this for ourselves - as individuals and in solidarity with our loved ones. Don't be afraid to go against the trends or mix multiple styles together. Colors, patterns, images, and heirlooms all connect to each of us differently and support our sense of self. Surrounding yourself with those that are most important to you will create spaces that will support you in living your best self. These things can energize you when you're feeling down, inspire you when you're drained, comfort you when you're unsettled, and so much more. When we create spaces we love, they love us back - and we feel it.
